Parnaz Karimi was born in February 1986 into a family with an artistic background. Both her grandfathers and many other family members were artists, so she grew up in an artistic atmosphere.
From a young age, Parnaz showed a great interest in painting, drawing and art in general. While in college, she majored in graphic design. During this time, she began designing posters and flyers for performances at the college, which has been an important part of her career ever since. After receiving her B.A. degree from the College of Tehran, Faculty of Fine Arts, she went on to earn her Master’s degree in Illustration from the same school in June 2013.
After graduation, Parnaz started an entrepreneurial project called ArangProducts with a friend. The main goal of their company was to bring their illustrations and designs into people’s everyday lives. She also worked as a freelancer, providing diverse designs and illustrations for various projects.
To further her knowledge in visual communication and design, Parnaz decided to move to Paris. She completed a one-year master’s degree program in Interactif Multimedia at Paris 1, Université de Sorbonne, école des arts de Sorbonne.
After three years as a senior graphic designer in a design studio and freelancing as an art director, illustrator, graphic designer and motion designer in collaboration with various companies, Parnaz is now looking for new collaborations and projects to create captivating visual content.
